30,000 galaxies in the EoR0 field

EoR0 field - 30,000 galaxies

For the article "Parametrizing Epoch of Reionization foregrounds: a deep survey of low-frequency point-source spectra with the Murchison Widefield Array" I have constructed this large, deep radio image. The image is made with the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) radio telescope, and is (at the time of writing) the deepest image made with the MWA. Every point-like source visible in this image is a galaxy, and in total more than 30,000 galaxies are distinguishable. The total area covered on the sky is about 40 x 40 degrees.
