Rules -> Adjudicators
Adjudication rules
This information is important for team captains and adjudicators
We would like to inform you of the changed selection criteria for the deployment of adjudicators, during the ETDS in Groningen. During past editions the qualifications of the various adjudicators differed a lot. Therefore, the candidate adjudicators at the ETDS Groningen will be divided into different classes according to their qualifications. Priority will be given to adjudicators with the highest possible qualification.
This has the following implications:
- Every candidate for adjudication has to fill in the adjudicator form and return it to the organization through e-mail (etds-adjudication@bluetoes.nl), under reference of ETDS adjudicator, preferably as quickly as possible (so that we are sure we have enough adjudicators), but at least before the 15th of May!
- Registering an adjudicator does not automatically mean that that the candidate will be lined up during the tournament.
- From every candidate we would like to receive their preference for the classes they wish to adjudicate and the amount of different classes they wish to adjudicate during the weekend (which might be all open and breitensport classes and qualification rounds). Note that not all preferences might be accounted for. All details are on the mentioned form.
- The organization reserves the right to enquire extra information about a candidate.
Please pay attention that an adjudicator candidate also has to apply according to the standard application procedure for contestants. Thus, the team captain needs to sign up the adjudicator on the ETDS website.
If there are questions about the selection procedure for adjudicators, please contact the adjudicator heads by e-mail: etds-adjudication@bluetoes.nl.
