You can reach Groningen easily by car or by train.

By car
Coming from the east/North-Germany, follow the A7/E22. From the South, follow the A28/E232. From the west, follow the A7/E22. Once you have reached Groningen, follow the N7, which will change in the N46 (Beneluxweg). Go left into the Groningerweg (N361), which will change in the Winsumerweg (N361). Take the N370 to the left, which will change in the Plataanlaan. Follow the signs "Zernike". Once you have reached the Zernike campus, see the map on how to reach the Zernikeplein. You can park your car at parking place P4. The campus is undergoing some changes, so be sure to check the website before you leave!
Do not trust your navigation system or Tom-Tom when you arrive on campus! The situation has been changed very recently, and Tom-Toms will probably tell you to drive into roads which are no longer open! Google maps is also out-dated.
By touring car
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR TOURING BUSSES: they can not park on the regular parking spaces! There's a proper parking place for them near a crematorium close by. See the map for info (in the bottom right), and follow signs to the crematorium just before you enter the campus. It's a bit longer walk (about 5 minutes) but prevents having to turn on places you don't want to turn with a touring bus ;-).
By train
To go by train, you should take the train to Groningen Central Station. From here, it is best to continue by bus to the Zernike campus. See information 'by bus'.
By bus line
Zernike campus with the sleeping hall and dancing hall is situated quite far from Central Station, but multiple buslines can bring you there. Either take busline 11 or 15. Normally, at least one of these busses leaves Central Station every quarter of an hour.
By plane
You could also take a plane to Bremen. You could for instance fly with Ryan Air, since these flights often are very cheap! Bremen is very close to Groningen, and busses can bring you directly from there to Groningen Central Station.
